Adam Fairhurst joins the CurbyMcLintock team to spearhead the Brisbane business
We are pleased to announce that Adam Fairhurst has joined CurbyMcLintock as a Partner in our forensic advisory business in Brisbane. Adam brings a lot of energy and experience to the team and will spearhead the CurbyMcLintock Queensland business.
Adam specialises in all types of investigations, fraud risk prevention, corporate governance, forensic technology, e-discovery, data analysis, and whistleblowing services.
Adam has a breadth of experience having most recently worked as a Director in BDO’s Queensland Forensic & Investigation Services and prior to that Adam was a Director in Queensland Health’s Fraud, Integrity & Investigations team.
He has previously worked as a Detective in law enforcement in both NSW and QLD where he held a role with the QLD Police Ethical Standards Command, Internal Investigations Branch.
Adam has specialist, unique skills assisting clients to navigate complex and sensitive matters. His focus is on customer service and relationship building, always striving for positive engagement and experience for clients.
With a deep passion for sport, particularly basketball, Adam, even though he is under 6 feet tall, has represented NSW, Qld, and Australia as a junior and senior athlete in several forums. He continues to be an active part of various sporting groups bringing his strong sense of belief in fair play, equality, and integrity both in the corporate world and on the sporting field.
A strong family man, Adam enjoys spending as much time as possible with his wife and kids, managing his children’s sporting teams and enjoying tackling any DIY activity at home that he can find, not always successfully to his wife’s dismay.
After a lengthy process, Adam joins the team with a focus on expanding and further developing our existing QLD offering. With boots on the ground in Brisbane, we see exciting times ahead to grow this arm of the business.
